Seleucus was compelled to surrender Arachosia (Qandahar area of south-east Afghanistan), Gedrosia (south Baluchistan), and Parapomisadai (the area between Afghanistan and the Indian sub-continent, such as Kabul, Herat, Gandhara) to him in return for 500 elephants.
