Ganale Doria River is a historically important river of Ethiopia which rises in one of the provinces of Ethiopia, flows to meet Dawa River to form the Jubba River, which finally flows through Somalia to drain at the Somali Sea. This perennial river is geopolitically important as it's confluence with the River Dawa forms the starting points for the boundary between Ethiopia-Kenya and Ethiopia-Somalia. It was also an important battle site of the Second Italo-Abyssinian War of 1936.
