Notes: The National Education Day is being celebrated on November 11 every year since 2008 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Azad played a significant role in shaping the country's education system and contributed to set up several academic institutes UGC, AICTE and other bodies. This year the theme is ‘Changing Course, Transforming Education’.
