The Central African CFA Franc is the official currency of the Republic of Congo. Actually, the Central African CFA Franc is the official currency of six independent countries in Central Africa such as Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. CFA stands for Financial Cooperation in Central Africa. This currency is issued by the Bank of the Central African States, headquartered in Yaounde, Cameroon, for the members of the Economic and Monetary Community in Central Africa.
