Notes: A fast-moving cyclone named Molave has hit the southern provinces of the Philippines. It has resulted in heavy flood in rural villages of the country.
The typhoon was blowing towards the South China Sea with sustained winds of 125 kilometres per hour. Nearly 25,000 villagers were displaced from the villages taking shelters in schools and Government buildings.
