The Koya tribe is one of India's few multi-racial and multi-lingual tribal communities. Their population is concentrated in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. The Koyas speak Koya, a Dravidian language, closely related to Gondi and influenced by Telugu.
