Notes: The former South African Cricket Umpire, who was part of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) elite panel, has passed away aged 73. Koertzen was part of the ICC's elite panel of umpires for eight years from 2002 and officiated in 331 international matches. After retiring as an international umpire in 2010, Koertzen published a book, ‘Slow Death: Memoirs of a Cricket Umpire’. He was called by the nickname ‘Slow Death’.
