Notes: Gujarat received the "1st Rank" award for highest wind power installed capacity at the "Pawan - Urja: Powering the Future of India" event, celebrating Global Wind Day in New Delhi. Gujarat surpassed Tamil Nadu with 11,823 MW of installed capacity by May 2024, compared to Tamil Nadu's 10,743 MW. Karnataka ranked third with 6,312 MW. The award was accepted by Gujarat officials Mamta Verma and Jai Prakash Shivahare.
