Notes: Poona Pact was signed on 25th September 1932 between Gandhiji and Mahatma Gandhi. By protesting the Communal Electorate announced by Ramsay Macdonald, Gandhiji started fasting in Yeraveda Jail. In the meantime, Dr. Ambedkar tried to negotiate with Gandhiji. He managed to secure the joint electorate and reservation for the depressed class.
