Notes: Kanha is  largest national park of Madhya Pradesh. Kanha Tiger Reserve was created on 1 June, 1955. Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard kipling for his famous novel “Jungle Book”, though he never visited these areas. It is also the first tiger reserve in India to officially introduce a mascot, Bhoorsingh the Barasingha.
