Notes: The High Level Committee on One Nation, One Election, chaired by former President Ram Nath Kovind, proposes synchronizing Lok Sabha, state Assembly, and local body (municipalities, panchayats) elections. Recommendations entail holding elections together within 100 days. To implement this, 15 constitutional amendments are suggested, including provisions for transitioning to simultaneous elections and procedures for early elections.
