Notes: Hornbill Festival of Nagaland, also known as the ‘Festival of Festivals’, showcases Nagaland’s rich culture. India assumed the G20 presidency on 1st December 2022 and the 23rd Hornbill Festival 2022 also began on the same day in Nagaland. It is organized by the Government of Nagaland, to encourage inter-tribal interaction and to promote the cultural heritage of Nagaland. Hornbill, Nagaland’s cultural icon, is found in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
