Notes: Recently, the Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister of India approved the Employment Linked Incentive Scheme. The Employment Linked Incentive Scheme supports employment generation, skill enhancement, and social security in all sectors, with a focus on manufacturing. It was announced in the Union Budget 2024-25 as part of the Prime Minister’s package of five schemes for 4.1 Crore youth with a budget of Rs 2 Lakh Crore.
