Notes: The Partition of Bengal was announced on 20 July 1905 by Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India and commensed on 16th October 1905. After that Swadeshi Movement took place and finally, the British Government (Lord Hardinge) revoked the partition of Bengal in 1911. In Andhra Pradesh, it was also known as Vandemataram movement. Both are correct statements.
