NDEM version 2.0 has been released with improved features and functions on ISRO satellite-based Virtual Private Network (VPN). This portal consists of a multi-scale geospatial database covering the base, thematic, infrastructure, disaster-specific products and satellite imagery along with a set of customized decision support tools.
Second statement is correct. National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), ISRO, Hyderabad is the lead agency to implement and operationalise NDEM project.
