Razia Sultana was the first and the last Muslim woman to ascend to Delhi’s crown. She reigned from 1236 until 1240.
Aram Shah was the second sultan of the Mamluk dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate. He briefly held the throne after the unexpected death of Qutb al-Din Aibak before being defeated and dethroned by Illtutmish.
Muiz-ud-din Bahram reigned from 1240 to 15 May 1242. It was during this period of unrest that the Mongols invaded the Punjab and sacked Lahore.
