Notes: The Vijayanagara kingdom was founded by Harihara and Bukka who belonged to a family of five brothers. The date of Harihara’s coronation is placed at 1336 CE. The growing weakness of the Delhi Sultanate emboldened the central Asian ruler, Timur to attack Delhi in 1398 CE.
