तमिलनाडु: अंबेडकर की जयंती पर ‘समानता दिवस’ (Equality Day) मनाया जाएगा
तमिलनाडु ने इस वर्ष से 14 अप्रैल, 2022 को बी.आर. अंबेडकर की जयंती को ‘समानता दिवस’ के रूप में मनाने की घोषणा की। इस दिन राज्य भर में शपथ भी ली गई।
मुख्य बिंदु
- राज्य भर के सभी सरकारी कार्यालयों में शपथ ली गई।
- जातिगत भेदभाव के खिलाफ यह शपथ ली गई थी।
- डॉ. अम्बेडकर की कृतियों का तमिल में अनुवाद और प्रकाशन भी किया जाएगा।
अम्बेडकर प्रतिमा की स्थापना
चेन्नई स्थित अंबेडकर मणिमंडपम में डॉ. अम्बेडकर की आदमकद कांस्य प्रतिमा भी लगाई जाएगी।
सामाजिक न्याय दिवस
17 सितंबर को पेरियार की जयंती को तमिलनाडु सरकार द्वारा पहले ही सामाजिक न्याय दिवस घोषित किया जा चुका है।
अंबेडकर जयंती
14 अप्रैल को, भारत के संविधान के निर्माता भीमराव अम्बेडकर को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने के लिए प्रतिवर्ष अम्बेडकर जयंती मनाई जाती है।
