Essential Qualification
Upper Division Clerk
Essential Qualification
A degree of recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Desirable Qualification:
- Typing speed of minimum 30 words per minute in English.
- Knowledge of computer data processing.
Stenographer Grade-III
Essential Qualification:
- Matriculation or equivalent
- Speed of 80 words per minute in English stenography.
- Typing speed in English of 30 words per minute.
Selection Process
Upper Division Clerk
Level 1 Test
Objective test covering:
- General English
- General Knowledge
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic)
Level 1 Test will be of qualifying nature. The aim will be to shortlist candidates for Level 2 Main exam.
Minimum qualifying standard:
General category: 50% aggregate
OBC / SC / ST/PH: 40% aggregate
Level 2 Test
English language and comprehension (Descriptive written test)
Stenographer Grade-III
Level 1 Test
Objective test covering:
- General English
- General Knowledge
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic)
Level 2 Test
Stenography Skill test.
