The 12th DefExpo is scheduled to held from October 18 to October 22, 2022 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It is the largest exhibition on Land, Naval and Homeland Security systems in India. During the five-day, three days will be allotted for business while two days will be allotted for public days.
Highlights of the DefExpo include;
- Year 2022 will mark the 12th DefExpo, during which equipment and skill set of Armed Forces, DPSUs and Industry will be demonstrated live at Sabarmati River Front.
- Expo will be held in a three-venue format at-
- Helipad Exhibition Centre
- Inaugural event & seminars at Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre and
- Live demo at Sabarmati River Front.
Exhibition will witness the events including;
- Bandhan for shaping the partnerships between companies
- Seminars and webinars showcasing of start-ups or MSMEs such as cutting-edge technology solutions for future battlefield, and Artificial Intelligence in defence.
- Student visits
- Showcasing Gujarat as investment destination for defence sector and aerospace.
- Participants will be provided with opportunity to showcase their equipment and platforms.
DefExpo-2022 is Asia’s largest event in defence sector, which will be held in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of achieving self-reliance in defence and touch the export mark of USD 5 billion by 2025. This expo will help in boosting investment, discovering avenues for technology absorption and expand manufacturing capabilities as well as capacities. It will be held under the theme- “Path to Pride”.
