The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has been conferred with the Afghanistan’s highest civilian honour “Amir Amanullah Khan Award”. Mr Modi is the first Indian and is among a handful of foreign leaders to receive the award. Beside this, Narendra Modi has also inaugurated the Afghan-India Friendship Dam, earlier known as Salma Dam, which was rebuilt with India’s aid.
