What was the enclosure movement? How did it affect the Agrarian Revolution? The Industrial Revolution?

Enclosure movement took place in England before industrial revolution. During this period, the wealthy farmers bought land from small farmers, and then benefited from economies of scale in farming huge tracts of land. Enclosure movement brought more land under cultivation, which led to agrarian revolution. It facilitated modern method of farming and also led to improved crop production, such as the rotation of crops.
The enclosure movement resulted in exodus of large number of people from farming as they became landless. These people began moving to cities, where they could more easily work in factories. This large human capital from agricultural labour thus provided for workforce in industries. This helped the Industrial revolution. Further, the agricultural revolution caused due to enclosure movement in England provided with agricultural surplus, raw material which in later stages became inputs for industrial revolution.
