How is democracy twined with Artificial Intelligence?

Studies have suggested that the growth of Artificial Intelligence will significantly boost productivity and innovation rate for modern India by 2021. However, the road for India is not very smooth as one of the biggest challenges faced by India is how to lower the inadvertent bias in constructed algorithms. Most of the AI developers are faced with the challenge that thrust is mainly coming from developed nations and not the developing world. The focu should be to switch from a top-down approach to a more data-driven and evidence-based approach. Latter is more representative of the weaker sections of under-developed nations.
