The government has to bring about changes to the healthcare system to bag funding from the World Bank. It has to work on improving the general healthcare and management of non-communicable diseases. One should also work on inequities in the reproductive and child health services. Many of the services which need to be improved upon is the care in various government health centres, addressing the quality of care in the primary, secondary and even the tertiary levels. In addition, an improved mental health programme has to be implemented along with interventions for screening, diagnosis, treatment and management of NCDS.
