Do you think that TV and radio have given an unfair edge to Modi in the Lok Sabha elections?

The Election Commission of India has stopped the release of the biopic of PM Narendra Modi which stars Vivek Oberoi till May 19. EC has taken the step to ensure free and fair elections in India. The film which had started its shooting one year and six months ago was aimed to be released much before the elections. Nothing was hidden and everyone knew about the same. No big ticket star was roped in which puts the total cost of its production at a very dismal figure when compared with the huge sums spent by parties. This is not any leverage the opposition demanded.
The real leverage of BJP actually lies on the TV and radio. The state-owned Doordarshan has only a limited audience in cities but has a strong rural base especially the remote areas. This gives BJP edge over the rural areas with a huge scope of political slanting. Similar misuse is also seen in radio broadcasting especially the chosen Mann Ki Baat by the PM. This misuse of the AIR can have far-reaching consequences in the election results.
