Hint: NECC is a trust and a voluntary Producers’ association with 25000 poultry farmers. Its not itself a cooperative but works on cooperative spirit and unites the poultry farmers to get better egg prices. Its slogan “My Egg, My Price, My Life” proved to be a mantra for poultry farmers across the country. It has not only taken care of interests of the poultry farmers but also has promoted egg consumption via its TV commercials in late 1990s and 2000s.
