India will have to walk through contradictory imperatives. On one hand it will have to act as a partner of China-Russia led regional cooperation and at the same time it has to not to act as being a component of anti-American gang. It is quite likely that all the countries express their support to China in its growing trade war with US but the position of India will be difficult. Also all the members of SCO are ardent supporters of Chinese BRI. They should also make efforts to bring stability in Afghanistan. It is understood that the SCO nations will definitely back Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism.
