“COVID India Seva”: An interactive Platform launched by GoI

On April 22, 2020, the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr Harsh Vardhan launched “COVID India Seva” platform. The platform is an interactive medium established to provide a channel of communication between the citizens and the Government.

Highlights

The platform aims at providing transparent e-governance delivery. This is achieved by answering queries of the citizens as early as possible. The platform answers queries raised by the citizen almost in real time basis.

Other Measures

Several portals have been launched by the GoI to help India fight against COVID-19. This includes iGOT (Integrated Government Online Training) portal. The portal provides training course to doctors and other medical staffs.

National Monitoring Dashboard was launched under Department of Adminstrative Reforms and Public Grievances. The portal has now received more than 25,000 grievances in just 20 days.

The following are the other portals launched

  • A Dashboard to provide details about dhabas and Repair Shops in highway to help trucks during the extended lock down.
  • An Integrated Geospatial platform to support Arogya Setu
  • YUKTI Portal to complete youths combating COVID-19 with knowledge.
