Otteri Lake

After the year-long efforts at rejuvenation by the officials, the Otteri Lake in Tamil Nadu has become a haven for migratory birds.

About the Lake

The Otteri Lake is a freshwater body located in the Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Tamil Nadu. It is located on the north-western part of the park. It was badly damaged by the Cyclone Vardah and later dried up due to monsoon failure. It was recently opened 3 months ago after a year-long rejuvenation efforts by the park authorities.
