UAE’s Golden Visa

The United Arab Emirates’ Golden Visa System provides long-term residency in the West Asian nation for up to 5 or 10 years. This benefit is provided for people who are investors, entrepreneurs, individuals with outstanding talents like researchers, medical professionals etc. Exceptionally talented high school and university students are also eligible for 5-year residency visa.

Launched in 2019, this system allows foreigners to live, work and study in the UAE without requiring national sponsor and with 100 per cent ownership of their businesses. The UAE government implemented this initiative to attract more foreigners to address the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
