Suresh Chitturi appointed Chief of International Egg Commission

Suresh Chitturi, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of India’s leading poultry firm Srinivasa Farms, has been appointed as chairman of the International Egg Commission (IEC). The Srinivasa Farms is recognised as one of the builders of the Indian Poultry industry in the last 50 years.

Key Highlights

In the history of the IEC institution, Suresh Chitturi will be the first chair from Asia.

His appointment was made at the IEC Global Leadership Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.

He is appointed as the Chairman of IEC for a period of next two years.

His work has been recognised at a global level as he was engaged in advocacy for poultry industry, internationally.

About International Egg Commission (IEC)

It is a membership organisation dedicated to the global egg industry. It was established in 1964, at the 2nd International Egg Conference held in Bologna, Italy. So far IEC has membership in over 80 countries.
