Smart Anganwadi

Smart Anganwadi is an upgraded version of the anganwadis, conceptualised under the Smart Anganwadi Scheme and the Integrated Child development Scheme in Kerala. Under the scheme, the conventional buildings are to be provided with better amenities like kitchen, study hall, swimming pool, creative zone, gardens, etc. according to land availability. Kerala’s women and child development department has given the go ahead for 48 anganwadis. For this, a total of 9 crore INR has been sanctioned.
