Red Fort Festival-Bharat Bhagya Vidhata

From 25th March to 3rd April the Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata is being celebrated. During this festival, the iconic Red Fort located in New Delhi and was built in the 17th century will be celebrated.

  • This event is being held to commemorate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
  • This event has been thought out by the Red Fort’s Monument Mitra, Union Culture Ministry, and Dalmia Bharat Limited.

What will be featured in this event?

This event will feature various thematic cultural fusions which will showcase the country’s history and diversity in heritage, art, cuisine, culture, etc.

This event will also highlight the nation’s traditions and culture in an unprecedented manner. This event has been aimed to familiarize the world with India-centric values that can be globally relevant. The visitors especially the youth will be able to find connections between the country’s present progress and the past glory.

What are the programmes being organized?

A projection map has been set up which will be showing the country’s history on the exterior walls of the monument. An exhibition has been organized to highlight India’s achievements over the past years.

A host of other cultural programmes that will highlight the nation’s regional cuisines, arts, craftsmanship. Songs and dance performances are also being organized to project India’s unity in diversity.
