Forest fire burns thousands of acre in New Jersey

The fire hipped by high winds burnt 1000 acres of forest on Sunday. The Coastal plains of New Jersey strtches more than 1 million acres and is barren which was ideal for the fire to spread easily. The blaze was reported in the afternoon. However, by then it had spread to 10, 000 acres. The fumes were visible from far around 65 km. The main road connecting Pinelands has been closed. However, no homes or business was reported to be damaged
