Permanent Indus Commission

Permanent Indus Commission is the bilateral commission, which implements the provisions of the Indus Water Treaty of 1960. It has officials from India and Pakistan who meet at least once a year to resolve water sharing disputes. The last such meeting was held in August of 2018 in Lahore. This year’s meeting, being held after 2 years, is the first since the abrogation of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
