Chairman of The Hindu Group honoured by Kerala Media Academy

Narasimhan Ram, an Indian journalist and Chairman of The Hindu Group of Publications, for his outstanding contribution to journalism, has been selected for the Kerala Media Academy’s National Media Award under the Government of Kerala.

The award is said to be instituted for fearless and brilliant journalistic work at a national level and as part of the academy’s 40th-anniversary celebration, this award is presented to N Ram for his contribution towards journalism for nearly four decades which has been selected by a jury comprising of former state Education Minister M A Baby, senior journalist Thomas Jacob, general education department secretary A Shajahan, media analyst Sebastian Paul, Asianet editor M G Radhakrishnan and Planning Board member Mridul Eapen.

In the month of March 2020 during a media conclave, Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan would be presenting the award which carries a citation, a memento and a cash prize of worth Rs. 1 lakh.
