Mount Sinabung

Mount Sinabung is an active volcano located in the Sumatra Island of Indonesia. It is a 2,600 m volcano was previously dormant for a period of 40 years before it erupted in 2010 and killed 2 people. It had again erupted in 2014 and 2016. Indonesia has over 120 active volcanoes. Recently, Mount Sinabung spewed volcanic materials over 5,000 m into the sky. In January, Mount Merapi, another volcano in Indonesia, had erupted.
