EEPC celebrates 50 years of rewarding exporters

The Engineering Export Promotion Awards (EEPC) celebrated its 50th year of Engineering Export Awards in New Delhi on Tuesday, 10th December 2019. A total of 111 National Awards for 2017-18 across 8 different categories in over 32 product panels were awarded to mark the occasion of completion of 50 years.
This year the Quality Control of India (QCI) for the first time awarded the EEPC India-QCI Quality awards to 7 winners.
The Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and Minister of State (independent charge) of Civil Aviation and Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri gave the National Awards. The Minister also informed that NIRVIK scheme has been announced to ensure enhanced loan availability for the exporters and urged exporters to tap emerging markets like the CIS countries, Africa, countries of Latin America and Mexico and the GCC countries (Gulf Cooperation Council) to ensure that by 2025 India’s engineering exports will reach the target of USD 200 billion.
