Mad cow disease

The Mad cow disease known technically as Bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) is a fatal, neurodegenerative disease in cattle. This disease causes a spongy degeneration in the brain and spinal cord. When a person eats BSE-infected beef, the person is at a higher risk for getting a human form of the disease, called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, or CJD. It is a rare disease
