Mobile app of Red Cross Society launched by President

The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind launched a mobile application that will provide hassle-free availability of blood from the nearest available blood bank to its registered members. The mobile application is developed by the Indian Red Cross Society’s (IRCS) Telangana branch.
A person will have to become a member of the Indian Red Cross Society through the app by making a payment through the online payment options available in the app. Once payment is completed the person will immediately become a member of the society and can have access to hassle-free availability of blood from their nearest available blood bank. For reaching the nearest blood bank, the mobile application will also provide navigation through Google Maps.

The Mobile application is developed in less than three months under the Good Governance initiate of the Telangana government.
