GISAT-1

GISAT-1 is a geostationary satellite with high temporal resolution. This satellite will enable real-time observation of the Indian sub-continent under cloud-free conditions. It is to be placed in a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. It was scheduled to be launched on board of GSLV-F10 rocket on March 28. The Indian Space Research Organisation recently announced that the launch is to be delayed due to a ‘minor issue’ with the spacecraft.
