Abhijit Banerjee wins 2019 Nobel Economics Prize for study on poverty
Indian-American Abhijit Banerjee, his wife Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer have jointly won the 2019 Nobel Economics Prize for their experimental approach to alleviating global poverty.
