UNICEF launches data visualisation app on education scenario in India

The UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund) launched Data Visualisation App to provide user-friendly visual representation of complex analytics of education scenario in India. It was developed with technical inputs from the UNICEF, in collaboration with National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and National Institute of Education Planning and Administration (NIEPA).

Key Facts

The app uses UDISE (Unified District Information System for Education), NAS (National Assessment survey) and demographic data. It can be used as visual tool by policy makers, academia, senior government officials, and researchers to address gaps and monitor programs in field of education.

Shiksha Mela Education Open Day

UNICEF India in partnership with Ministry of Human Resource Development organised Shiksha Mela Education Open Day to demonstrate case stories showcasing holistic and equitable quality education achieved through convergent programming across 17 states.
