13th Asia Pacific Screen Awards

The 13th Asia Pacific Screen Awards which are Asia Pacific’s highest accolade in film were awarded in Brisbane, Australia. With films from nearly 70 countries and areas in region, APSA honours filmmaking that best reflects its cultural origins and diversity of Asia Pacific.

Best Performance by an Actress: Max Eigenmann in ‘Verdict’

Best Performance by an Actor: Manoj Bajpayee in ‘Bhonsle’

About Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA)

It is an international cultural initiative/program of Australia’s Brisbane City Council that honours as well as promotes directors, films, actors, and cultures of Asia-Pacific region to a global audience. The award also realises objectives of UNESCO to promote and preserve respective cultures through the influential medium of film. The First edition of award was presented in 2007. Since then it is presented annually by UNESCO, FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) and Brisbane City Council, Australia.
