Anti-disinformation code

Anti-disinformation code is a voluntary code unveiled by the global tech firms in Australia. The aim is to curtail the spread of online disinformation. This came in response to the pressure from the Australian government, which was inquiring into the role of tech firms in the spread of misinformation and disinformation. Under this code, the tech firms commit to wide range of actions like labelling false contents in platforms, prioritising credible information sources etc.
