George Clooney marries his lady love

George Clooney considered to be the most eligible bachelor in Hollywood has married his British Lady love Amal Alamuddin, a British human rights attorney. They tied the knot in a private ceremony at Venice. The wedding has been much awaited in the international media circles since a long time. The venue came naturally to Clooney who has been frequently visiting the place on film festivals and also owns a villa north of Milan. The paparazzi have been gathering at Venice to get the best glimpses of the much awaited nuptials. The couple was last pictured together as bachelors cruising the sun-bathed waters of Venice ahead of their wedding.
The wedding took place in a star-studded bash at the Aman Canal Grande Venice resort which is housed in Palazzo Papadopoli. Clooney who had arrived at a motorboat to the bash at the resort was seen sipping champagne with his friends to celebrate the great moment of his life. The stars who had adorned the occasion were Cindy Crawford, Bill Murray, Matt Damon and Bono.
George Clooney is one of the most popular faces of Hollywood and a very responsible actor. He has also two Oscars to his name. The actor has also shown considerable compassion for human rights causes especially in Darfur crisis in Sudan. The couple had met on related work assignments as Lebanese-born Amal has dealt with some really high-profile cases. She has served as defending lawyer for Julian Assange of Wikileaks and former Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
The wedding which was long awaited by the star-watchers made a great flutter on the social media as well.
