AIIRLAS

AIIRLAS or Advanced Institute for Integrated Research in Livestock and Animal Science is a livestock institute to be inaugurated in Salem, Tamil Nadu. It is to be Asia’s largest livestock institute and was constructed at the cost of 1,023 crore INR across an area of 1,100 acres. It is to have a veterinary college, research centre and uninterrupted drinking water facility. 2 more veterinary colleges are also to come up in the state.
