Trump administration to review assisting Pakistan

The US government is currently looking at its terms of assistance to Pakistan. It has been helping Pakistan through peace keeping, infrastructure, funding, terrorism control and many more. Last year the Trump administration accused Pakistan that Washington has benefitted nothing from Pakistan.

Islamabad is currently playing a major role in the peace talks between Taliban and Afghanistan. If this succeeds, US would withdraw its 14, 000 troops that are employed in the in that region. However, the Trump administration has already been planning on to revise its military assistance in the region

US says it is now operating on a new formula to measure the capacity and commitment of each country in the benefit of America. With its 17 metrics, targeting to shift from outputs to outcomes.

US believe its aids to Pakistan are in vain as the conditions in some of the provinces of Pakistan like Sindh the conditions continue to deteriorate.
