Travel Restrictions

India recently suspended all visas, except certain categories, till April 15. Restrictions on international flights are to come into effect on March 22nd.

Inbound Passengers’ Restriction

Passengers from the following countries won’t be brought into India by airlines: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom. It is also applicable to passengers from Philippines, Malaysia and Afghanistan.

Quarantine

Passengers from UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait after March 18th will be quarantined for 14 days. Passengers who visited China, Republic of Korea (South Korea), Iran, Italy, Spain, France and Germany on or after February 15th will also be quarantined.

Foreigners

Foreigners from the list of restricted countries will not be allowed in. The restriction also applies to dependants of those in exempted visa categories. Those with employment and project visas would be allowed to enter. Other allowed visa categories of foreigners are: stay visa (employment), RC visa and RP visa.
