The Indo-Bangladesh joint military exercise “Sampriti-7” started in Meghalaya and Mizoram

The Indo-Bangladesh joint military exercise “Sampriti-7” has started in its northeastern states of Meghalaya and Mizoram from November 6, 2017. This is the 7th edition of the joint training exercise, which will end on November 18.
The 13-day exercise will be conducted at India’s Jungle Warfare School at Vairengte in Mizoram and at the Joint Training Node at Umroi in Meghalaya. The purpose of the exercise is to enhance interoperability between the two nations and enrich from each other’s experience while carrying out counter-insurgency or counter-terrorism operations.
